This game takes place in the northern part of Lake County (Mt. Dora, Eustis, Tavares, and Leesburg area).  While it will take place in the shared territory held by Ocala, it will NOT be a Sabbat game.  ((Fair warning!!))
This is a multi-genre Werewolf-Changeling-Mage venue

Premise
The towns and settlements of Lake County have always been a sleepy, small town example of old Florida splendor.  However, as human settlement and development ever increases in this northern part of Central Florida, changes are coming...

  • The Gaian werewolves have long held a watchful eye over this piece of southern splendor.  For a long time, the area has been preserved and maintained enough with careful ecological balance, not too large size, and ingrained traditions so that each of the tribes of the Nation have been (relatively) satisfied with its place in the world.  Now, however, the growth of human activity is bringing new threats to the Wyrm to the area.
    • The sept in Mt. Dora has been dedicated for many years to Stourbridge Lion, as one of the few places in America with an active original gauge railroad still in service.  (The "Orange Blossom Special" still runs in the World of Darkness!)  In gratitude for their longstanding support and prominent position, he has allowed both an antique car and seaplane museum spots to exist in the city. (Gaian residents must still follow the ban, but there are trolleys, and bikes and such, and they may petition to use a seaplane.  Kinfolk are excepted).  Part of the Ocala National Forest also borders this county, and there are plenty of adventures to be had.
  • The recent influx of Anarchs into Leesburg and migration of Unseelie from Ocala has threatened to upset the balance between the fae courts, and whispers of darker things are said to be coming up around the corner.
    • The many festivals of the area have long since attracted the fey folk to the area.  The Mt. Dora Community Building Theater has traditionally been the center of activities in the Freehold.
  •  The Tradition mages have long since enjoyed a quiet spot in the area.  Despite occasional skirmishes and misunderstandings, several of the societies have existed for a long, long time.  The recent explosion in population and development has raised fears of whether the Technocracy is ready to finally make a big push in establishing a foothold in the area as it has in Orange county. The fight for control of the destiny of the sleepers has reached its climax.
    • The longtime seat for the activities of the Traditions mages is in Howey-in-the-Hills.  The oldest and most established chantry is now located in the Howey mansion.
Games Notes/Requests

Multi-genre means different character types are welcome for play.
  1. Gaian werewolves of the standard tribes and Corax are allowed (especially with the area's reputation as a birding preserve).
  2. Primarily Seelie concepts allowed (even Ghille Dhu--this IS Lake County).  Unseelie potentially with rare exceptions, but no true Shadow Court (goblins, ogres, etc.).
  3. Tradition of Nine mages only.  Full Awakened--no sleepwalkers at this time.
  4. Gurahl and inanimae (such as mannequins) with extremely limited ST permission only.
  5. If you don't see it listed above, the answer is no.
